Workshop @ AMOQA ▼ Queer Dreams: Building tools for non-binary dream interpretation

Queer Dreams is a forthcoming smartphone app intended for everyday use. Unlike mainstream dream interpretation tools such as dictionaries, Queer Dreams seeks to repoliticize our subjective relationship with dreams and imagination, thinking in terms of feelings, emotions, impressions, etc. rather than fixed binary symbols.

As artists with strong interests in poetics and (self-)care, we recognise in queer feminist dream interpretation countless opportunities to detoxify our daily lives from the weight of white capitalist heteropatriarchy. The workshop will be a first attempt at collectivizing this project.

Participants will be contacted closer to the date with information on how to prepare and what to bring. The event will be in English, but everyone is free to use their preferred language when writing. Whispered translation from English to Greek can be organized.

The workshop is open to everyone regardless of gender and sexual identity. As capacity is limited, priority will be given to LGBTQI+ participants (please specify in the email if you don’t identify as LGBTQI+).
