The Breeder is pleased to host Ntezee Queer Arts Festival during Athens Pride Week on June 5th 2019, with a screening of Stuart Comer's (Chief Curator of Media and Performance, MoΜΑ, New York) video collage "Caught in the Act" - a video project made exclusively from online found footage.

«Suspended between militant masculinity and polymorphous perversity, secret codes and shameless exhibitionism, creeping shame and ecstatic resistance, this constellation of fragments celebrates the ruins, the future and the endlessly shifting parameters of the queer, post-queer and post-post-queer archive.» -Stuart Comer

“Caught in the Act” was initially commissioned by Konstantinos Menelaou, art director of Ntezee during Fringe! Film and Arts Festival in London. It will be screened for the first time in Athens on the occasion of the forthcoming Ntezee Queer Arts Festival (24-27 October 2019, Athens) during Athens Pride Week.

Andreas Angelidakis ' installation Demos (Pink), part of his solo show "A Submissive Acknowledgment of Powerlessness" will host the screening, which will take place from 7pm until 11pm at The Breeder (Iasonos 45, Athens).
The entrance is free.
