ARCH is pleased to announce the exhibition The Slightest of Breezes by Konstantinos Giotis.
Konstantinos Giotis (b. 1988) lives and works in Athens, Greece. He works across painting and drawing, from intimate studies to large-scale compositions. Often referencing popular culture, art history, and autobiographical elements, his work explores representation, abstraction, and ambiguity as a means of constructing a contemporary imaginary. His scenes are inhabited by ghostly presences and figures that move fluidly in and out of focus, evoking moments of transition and transformation. Developed over long periods through successive layers of paint and transparencies, the works unfold as acts of concealment and revelation, weaving together emotional, temporal, and conceptual connections.
The exhibition is accompanied by a text written by Maria-Thalia Carras, curator and founder of Tauros, who recommended Konstantinos Giotis to the IASPIS Residency, where many of the paintings on display were produced.
