As part of Haus N' s online summer video programme, we present Acedia by Eva Papamargariti.

Acedia is a short visual poem that deals with the notions of boredom, apathy, repetition, time and the thin lines between action and idleness.

Using the sloth figure as main protagonist and metaphor at the same time, the work attempts to twist and subvert elements and tropes that stand on the verge of paradoxical conditions

which are quite visible in a quotidian frequency on our digital and physical 'ecosystems' - building simultaneously a continuous sense of joyous dystopia.
