CTRL+τ is an initiative aimed at mobilizing emerging local and international artists to deploy their artistic practice and develop a work in progress. Throughout the year and for a specific period, different artists are given control of T.A.F.'s physical and virtual space, in order to elaborate upon the concept of CTRL+τ with absolute freedom in terms of research methodology and artistic means. Visitors can visit the T.A.F. space (studio visit) and see the artistsin action. While at the end of the programme a presentation of the completed work will be given.

''Demigoddess, A Heroine's Journey'' showcases original work from Normandie Luschers's ongoing comic, Demigoddess. Through the week of Normandie's participation in the CTRL+τ program she will develop an installation based on the themes in her comic of processing trauma and healing. Gallery visitors will be invited to interact with the installation and contribute wishes and memories. Additionally, she will continue developing workand share research from the project.

In a quest to erase past experiences, reinvent her identity and overcome her grief, Demi, the heroine in the comic series, is guided on her journey by contemporary interpretations of the Muses from Greek Mythology. Demi ultimately follows the path to the Underworld, where she wants to drink from the River Lethe that will cause her to lose her bad memories. But the muses have other plans for her, helping her uncover hidden aspects of herself, and thus the power within herself, leading her alternatively to the Mother of the Muses, Mnemosyne, and her Pool of Omniscience.

On June 7 visitors are invited to attend the opening night and to see the development of the project and installation. On June 9, Normandie will host a workshop on developing original bio stories. In this workshop attendees will explore approaches to telling personal stories through journaling and brainstorming and will be able to create a short story in a unique format. There will be 10 spots available for the workshop. Those interested in attending can confirm by sending a message through Normandie's Instagram: @normandieillustration. There will be some paper and pencils available in the gallery, though attendees are welcome to bring any preferred materials.
