Human kind is a sculptural, audible and sensory installation.
Varvara Liakounakou is a figuratrive painter,
whos characters embrace and merge to one.
Most of her themes are around intimacy, connection and a momentary existence.
In Human Kind she will be showing, for the first time, sculptures expressing a more collective feeling, a collection of voices.
Made entirely from waste materials, Varvara, Artsct Initiative and Kato Kosmos Studio will collaborate on this exciting exploration of Kindness and it's many, many forms.
We are individualy living in a world that is changing,
Climate, politics, extreme ideologies and society is reaching us all.
Fear, joy, pain, love.
How we ride the waves together is how we bring order to the chaos.

The sculptures are made out of recycled plastic. Humans are consuming their garbage, the toxicity and 'becoming' it. We are what we eat is a famous proverb for a reason.
Maybe the answer could be found in the kindness of human nature, in their kindness to each other.
