As a part of the 5th Back to Athens Festival, Horror Vacui art group invites artists from various backgrounds to engage in a creative dialogue.
Each group member teams up with a creative partner, engaging in an ongoing reflective practice, cross-examining, enriching and evolving one another’ s work. Some develop collaborative projects, and others share the same creative space, leaving open the possibility for association and relationality.
In this context, Annita Argyroilopoulou meets director Katerina Evangelakou, Andreas Vousouras meets artist Dimitris Gizinos, Charalampos Dermatis – sugar artist Joanna Frilingou, Antigoni Kavvatha – the works of Thanasis Papayannakos, Andreas Lyperatos – the plans of Chrysanthos Sotiropoulos, Evsevia Michaelides – artist Eleni Lyra, Varvara Spyroulis – architects Demosthenes Anastasiades and Doulis Tsora, Martha Tsiaras – performer, storyteller Sally Clayton.
