The Intermission presents the debut performance by musical group The Page of Cups, staged by the internationally acclaimed Greek artist Jannis Varelas.

The sound of The Page of Cups (Panos Vlasopoulos - Dimitris Vlasopoulos - Jay Vlasopoulos - Thodoris Klaudianos - Christos Bekiris) is characterized by a fusion of electronic and acoustic indie rock elements. The five-member band will present their first four singles with the participation of rapper mi55t, Iam Nothe (solo project of Spyreas Sidiropoulos of Cyanna and Cyanna Mercury), and Complex Shadow (founding member of the music collective ATH Kids).

Jannis Varelas's design envelops the performers in the playful aesthetic that characterizes his work. The alternation of roles is common for the artist who we know primarily as a painter, but also as a sculptor and as the director and protagonist of his performances. His characters and motifs escape of the canvas transforming into sculptures who might find themselves starring as props in interactive performances. If you feel that the boundaries between fiction and reality are blurred, it is because you have stepped into the magical world of Jannis Varelas.
