Migration is one of the defining themes of our time. Not a day goes by without a discussion in newspapers, on television or in the social media about refugees, the causes of flight or refugee aid. Journalists must always be aware of what they trigger with language and images. How do refugees and migrants appear in news coverage? The power of the media in influencing and changing the narrative will be discussed in an open and constructive exchange of thoughts between journalists and intellectuals from Afghanistan now in exile.
