The Horde: our wayward remains

The multimedia exhibition "The Horde: our wayward remains" invites the viewer to a new navigation into the world of the Horde, in an intoxicating environment consisting of material documents of the collective game The Horde: Doomer Mode, which was realized at the 11th studio of ASFA and broadcasted live at The Overkill Festival in the Netherlands, in November 2023. The game followed the methodology of LARP (Live Action Role-Playing) games and unfolded within a post-pandemic reality designed and built by the students of the 11th studio. In the world of The Horde, three cursed clans of players fight for their survival: the Clerks, the Nosferati, and the Harmonians. Students from studio 11 revisit the world of The Horde, recycling its remnants and reviving its narrative thread (lore) using a range of tools, from installations to game engines.
